Welcome to this online POCUS Ultrasound Course for Primary Care Practitioners

This course has been designed to meet the growing need for Point-of-Care Ultrasound training among general practitioners and primary care clinicians. Please note that it is written in British English.
The POCUS training curriculum is currently under discussion at the Swiss national level. In this context, we offer here a reasoned and structured approach, developed on the basis of available evidence and recognised best practices. This programme is not set in stone: it will be adapted over time in accordance with the guidelines issued by the SSUM (Swiss Society of Ultrasound in Medicine) and in response to feedback and requests from users.
