Welcome to this online POCUS course for primary care physicians

To date, there is no specific POCUS training programme dedicated to general practitioners (GPs) in Switzerland. This course offers a structured approach tailored to their needs and constraints, whilst awaiting specific guidelines from the SSUM.

It forms part of a comprehensive training programme specifically designed for primary care physicians and constitutes the theoretical component of the curriculum, to be completed before practical workshops, in line with the flipped classroom approach. It may also serve as a theoretical foundation for any course organiser wishing to develop practical workshops for GPs.

For further information on the overall educational concept, please consult our presentation document.
